Clinical notes  

Keep all your medical records and SOAP notes in one place, on MyPractice.

Speed up, simplify and standardise your note taking using pre-defined screens which take you quickly and easily through your initial assessments and body charts. You can customise your system to use your own background charts and forms. Images can also be imported, giving you the option to add X-rays, ultrasounds and digital pictures to a patient's notes.

Any image can be edited, giving you the facility to annotate and add symbols to charts and pictures or complete forms such as "Combined movement" diagrams at any stage during a patients episode.

Tablet PC integration  

MyPractice allows you to take advantage of the latest advances in technology by integrating with tablet PCs.

You can now write notes completely freehand onto a screen using an electronic pen, giving you complete freedom and mobility.

Just some of the advantages include better interaction between you and your patient and the ability to use symbols and sketches. The tablets will even convert your handwriting into text, making it easier for others to read.

Voice recognition

Outcome measurements  

MyPractice can use the data gathered during the patients episode to produce sophisticated outcome and activity reports. If you wish to know how many patients you are seeing broken down by problem area or diagnosis, the information is only a click away.

Reports can calculate averages for any data in the system such as change in severity and function, number of treatments, cost of episodes and outcomes.

If you are treating NHS as well as private patients you can track vital information such as waiting times from referral to treatment, UTA's and DNA's.

Management dashboard screens  

View all vital business data for the day, month or year at a glance. These screens provide you with summary data for core activity such as appointments, charges and payments. They are also interactive, allowing you to drill down into the information.

From these screens produce reports that format the information into visual presentations.
These reports are also interactive and help you to analyse the data more effectively.

Intelligent Emailing and SMS  

Send user defined emails automatically from the system to cover a variety of scenarios. Appointment reminders, Appointment DNA messages, reminders to re-book, "how are you?" messages after treatment has finished, can all be generated automatically.

MyPractice allows you to intelligently define these emails.

A new patient attending for the first time for example could receive an appointment reminder that includes directions to the clinic with a map and your registration forms as attachments. All this done for you just by the booking of an appointment.

Alternatively send simple text reminders straight to a patients mobile phone or maybe a combination of email and text, depending on the patients preference.

Reports  
There is a comprehensive suite of standard reports covering appointments, charges, invoices and payments. All of which can be run for specified date ranges and identify details such as practitioner and location. A daily payment report gives you all the information necessary to cash up at the end of the day. An aged debtor report shows all outstanding debt for your business in just seconds.

Running a patient activity report will highlight new patient and source information, giving clear marketing insight into your business.

Patient
database

 

All patient details can be accessed from their main page. There are seperate tabbed pages for Contact, Personal and Financial details.

There is also a page to show the patients Event History. This shows a log of any appointments (attended, cancelled or no show), phone calls, letters or file notes pertaining to that patient.

top of page Appointments, tasks and teminders  

Each user has their own diary, which can be viewed in various modes. When looking at a single persons diary you have the option to view just your appointments and tasks, just your tasks and messages, or a combination of the two, as shown opposite. The user also has the choice of a day, week, month or year view.

You can view appointments for the whole week for a particular practitioner. The diary is colour coded so you know at a glance the status of each appointment.

top of page Team diaries  
In multi-user mode the diary view will show appointments and events for a number of people. This view has proved very popular for the easy identification of spare slots and the booking of appointments, which can be done by a single click on any of these diary views.

top of page Room diaries  

MyPractice will automatically book a room when a patient appointment is booked on a practitioner's diary. If the room is unavailable the system will give you a warning.

You can view a room diary in much the same way as a persons, by the day, week or as a group of rooms, making finding available slots quick and easy.

top of page Letters and documents  

MyPractice has the ability to store any document or file that can be saved on a computer. Word or Excel files, photographs, scans, Xrays can all be imported onto the system and held against a particular patient, GP or company. Likewise any document or report produced by the system automatically gets saved against the relevant person or company, meaning you will always know where to find them.

The system makes writing letters or producing forms quick and easy with a comprehensive range of standard templates. Anything from a GP discharge letter to an equipment hire agreement or patient invoice can be produced at the touch of a button. All the relevant information held by the system will be filled in for you automatically.

top of page Accounts and automated invoicing  

Once an appointment has taken place, a single click will create the invoice for you. All the relevant fields on this screen will be filled in by the system, you just need to check the details and confirm

You can take a payment either from an individual invoice or from the patients ledger account. The payment screen allows you to allocate against any outstanding invoices and records such details as account payee and method of payment.

top of page Stock control  

Each line of stock has its own individual screen. This displays data such as stock levels, buy and sell price and supplier details. From within this page you have the option of setting alert levels, which give you warnings when stock needs to be moved from one location to another, or new stock ordered.

The updating of stock levels is done automatically whenever an invoice is created, a delivery is recorded or a movement of stock from one location to another takes place. The stock delivery screen records the stock item, number delivered, location and supplier. There is also a text field available for any notes you may wish to take.

top of page Holidays and resource planning  

The system allows you to keep track of holidays, sick leave or any other time spent away from the office, such as training or maternity leave.

You can set defaults for the dates you want your holiday year to run from and the standard holiday entitlement allocation.

You also have the option of setting default colours for each member of staff, making the holiday chart quick and easy to read.

The Preori database is secured on a number of levels. The first is traditional password protection at logon. Then data fields and processes can be secured by individual user profiles and access levels. Finally, fully encrypted data records allow as much or as little access to every aspect of your system.
